Is there any way to test the purity of a tank of helium? I'm in Italy, so none of the problems listed there, but still…. Like, how high your voice gets or a balloon test?

A good way to test it and also get the feeling of it is to position your self on a mattress and inhale the helium. If its pure enough you will pass out in a few seconds and land on the mattress. Make sure you inhale in a way that passing out will remove the helium from you. You should wake up shortly after. If its not pure and is mixed with oxygen nothing will happen.Similar threads
