Venting having your dreams come down to the awful truth

i love my best friend so much but she doesn't. she mentioned once about how if we had a child it would probably be very pretty. it probably meant nothing to her and she didn't think much of it, but to me this changed everything. i've never wanted to be a father before ever but this changed everything. i started dreaming of this child and thinking of it a lot. i know she doesn't really care at all and i know it will never happen. such a beautiful child we will never have. though she changed her mind some weeks later saying it would probably be ugly. she doesn't have any ill will but to me that made everything come crash down and reminded me how it never will happen.

unrequited love can also be painful & depressing, especially if that person means so much/a lot to you. I know because I've experienced the same thing too (even though I'm much older than you, from Indonesia)
