having SN has made me want to ctb less

i got my sn last week and honestly now that i have it i feel more happy. i don't want to ctb (for now, the feeling will come back) and it has been a good week. i think having the option has made everything so much more bearable

Knowing it's at my fingertips when I'm ready is comforting. I pre-paid for my burial and that was helpful too. I know I will still CTB, but I do feel a sense of relief which has brought a feeling of happiness now that all my ducks are in a row.

I'm happy for you and yes, for some people (myself included) having an exit does relieve CTB ideation and general dread because one is able to exert ultimate control over one's own destiny, life when otherwise they wouldn't have. While I'm in despair due to my personal circumstances (including not having direct access to my method - stored somewhere else while I'm living at parents' home and they don't like the idea of having a firearm in their house), I know that someday when I get a chance to move out, my priority would be to gain direct access to my method again.

Anyways, yes I'm glad you have a reliable exit and I felt similarly over a year ago when I had direct access to my method for when shit really gets horrible to check out.

Am glad u have some temporary peace of mind at least... But I m so gutless my SI stops me even from procuring SN ... I hate my self . but guess I will have to do it one day
