Foot odor? Wish there was an easy way to ctb..

I have to be the unluckiest person alive. I have this uncontrollable foot odor when I wear most shoes and it just gets worse with time. I've had a successful corporate career beforehand but now it's got so bad to where I can't work. I bought SN about two weeks ago but SI took over. It honestly looks like homelessness is on my near future all because of a medical issue. Is having normal feet to much to ask? I was told this has a strong genetic component. Life found the weirdest way of crushing me.

i dont think i had that before but at some point in my life i was so depressed that i coudnt even shower and yeah my feet started smelling. someone gifted me a spray for it lol it was half yellow half blue. it worked ig. how did you buy sn?

What treatments have you tried? I used to have Hyperhidrosis under my arms, and was treated with prescription strenth aluminum chloride antiperspirant. It worked. There's also iontophoresis, which is really effective for most people who have foot odor. And then vinegar, etc. Please look into all treatments before taking your dear life. And join Hyperhidrosis support groups.

This sounds preposterous, but I have heard multiple people swear by the efficacy of soaking their feet in black tea to combat odor.

I can't vouch for this information personally, but apparently, the tannins in the black tea act as an astringent and help fight potential fungus and kill odor-causing bacteria.

I know someone with excessively sweaty feet. He wears sandals as much as possible. Trapped moisture allows bacteria to bloom causing odor.
I do not havecsweaty feet, but my canvas barefoot shoes without socks breathe very well. They stay dry all day.
I wear them a bit loose for comfort and ventilation.

Perhaps trying a powder in shoes to soak up sweat that is causing odor; baking soda would probably work. I excessively sweat and didn't even need a prescription to order Perspirex extra strenght roll-on antiperspirant online, which is so strong it only needs to be applied like 1-2x/week, if that, but it does burn and itch like HELL the nights you apply. Try wiping them with rubbing alcohol after a shower and maybe keeping some alcohol wipes on you to re-cleanse throughout the day. Try a foot deodorant. Do all of it. Maybe you have, but there's lots to try.
