I watched a guy shoot himself to the head. it was really graphic. don't recommend.

No, it actually just made me more certain how I'd like to go about it. Horrifying of course, but very effective.

Sometimes it's not the video that shocks me, but the comments people post about the poor soul. It sickens me. I almost lost my faith in humanity.

This was my comment when I first saw someone died successfully, albeit painfully by hanging for the first time.

I've seen at least over 1,000 gore videos over the years and some of them did happen to be suicide videos. After awhile, I got used to seeing crazy things like peoples brains being ejected from the skull in a jumping suicide or peoples bodys rotting, with black fluids and maggots dripping down the body onto the floor in hanging cases where the body isn't found for a long time. I can only imagine how horrible the smell is. I've seen seen slow motion videos of peoples faces contorting from the insane amount of power of a shotgun shooting someone in the face point blank. I saw a video where this cop and the cops son were kidnapped and the cop was beheaded right in front of his son, then afterwards the son was skinned alive from the chest down with all internal organs exposed, which then the dudes pulled out his heart and if I remember correctly, they took a bite out it. I've seen dogs and cats get their heads stomped in and afterwards, the girls in the video took a shit on the dead bodies of the animals. I've seen some pretty fucked up videos and honestly no video gore video nor rape video, or any shock videos alike will ever really have some sort of affect on me. I am completely numb to that kind of stuff now.

I used to watch a lot of death/gore stuff and frequented rotten back in the day. Not so much anymore, but I always found the suicide stuff weirdly soothing if it wasn't too violent? Like hanging and handguns didn't bother me too bad. I used to mod gurochan a long time ago so I guess I'm just morbid.

You can still easily find stuff like Budd Dwyer's suicide if you're curious about things like that since it's widely made public, but it's understandably upsetting to some (I don't recommend stuff like that for anyone in recovery). I haven't seen much wrt overdose or drug related deaths though.

I forget who the guy was, but he committed suicide by shooting himself on Facebook live(?) and you could see his face blown off for a while before the stream got cut off by police. There was also a surveillance video of a man jumping from a height and landing on a baby carriage. Effectively killing the infant inside and the woman cried for help holding her lifeless kid. Both of them definitely disturbed me, but there was one video in particular that stuck with me. This woman hung herself in her home in front of her two young kids. So as she's twitching and dangling from the ground, her kids are screaming and sobbing. Even as she's dead one of them is hugging onto her legs and crying.

I've seen many suicide/gore videos and pictures. Part of me wants to see it and is desensitized to it the other,, also wants to see it, but can't stomach it. Up close pictures of people's faces basically caving in is something else. Still amazing how much blood is really in a human body.

No, I will never watch one. I think someones last moments should be private. It would traumatise me watching one. There is plenty of written information about suicide, for research such as written SN documentations. I find it beyond disturbing that whole websites exist that are dedicated to gore. Did the person on this thread really have to describe graphic animal abuse. I cannot un read that. Human beings are disgusting. I just want to leave this world where such great potential for cruelty exists.

I always found that kind of video's very disturbing. Now I can watch it without blinking my eyes. I don't enjoy it of course but it's like there is no room in my brain for emotions. It is strange how the brain works.

I seen a vid in black and white where some guy shot himself in court. r budd dwyer. Also two men who ingested cyanide. But I don't think I should count them because I didn't see them die onscreen.

I don't watch gore vids cuz they depress me. The worst thing I've seen is a dog being skinned alive and thrown into a pile of other skinned alive dogs who looked to be still alive. I got to the vid from some animal rights twitter and clicked cuz I was curious. Big mistake. I can remember that vid clearly even though it's been more than 10 years.
