I can understand people's reasons for not doing it and I probably never will either but a part of me wishes the world would get more pro-mortalist just so that ctbing would get easier. If it was so normalized that everyone just told you about a site like this as soon as they could see you were suffering and considering freeing yourself from your misery, everyone already here might have an easier time going through with it.

Yeah, I meet a lot of very interesting people on here and I enjoy telling stories to friends and acquaintances; the question of "How did you meet that person?" thus comes up. A lot of people get extremely morbid curiosity as a result. They usually just lurk as guests and then forget about it, though.

No, but I may recommend the recovery section if I knew someone was struggling. But then they may get ideas from the other side... The site has been only good to me, and above all I'd want to protect it. If I knew someone is suicidal, I doubt I would, as I think it's up to the person to find.

No.

Most Finns commit suicide without the need for sites like this.

Also, if it's someone who I want gone, you can bet their ass they won't commit suicide.

Also, if it's someone I don't want gone, why would I ever tell them of a suicide site?

There's also the fact that Finns hate suicidal and depressed people, so it's a social suicide to make people know you know of this site.
