I have, and it's extremely embarrassing. Now there are even less methods available. That's why I was thinking of crashing my car on a concrete wall, but people advised me against it as it can leave me with injuries. Have you ever been discovered? How do you feel about it?

Twice when I was younger. The second time, I was about 12 and hung myself. My mother came home a lot earlier that day and found me just as I did it.

Embarrassing is the first word I think of too when I look back on how I felt. It's weird because you shouldn't? But that's exactly I how I felt, and how I still feel whenever I talk about that.

Although one of those times that I was on the edge I decided Not to go through with ctb. I was angry at myself for not doing it so I stabbed myself in a non lethal area. My mom found me in the kitchen with A Lot of blood all over me. After I said that I stabbed myself but was ok, she called me an idiot and went to back to drinking. I felt like a total loser.

On the other hand, I acted extremely depressed and basically let them know what I was going to do.

No, I have not even properly attempted. The fear of failure is the main thing that is holding me back from ctb, being found too early is what I fear. We should be able to exit peacefully at a time of our own choosing without the risk of being found too early. Our right to die should always be respected.

Found at about 5 hours after ingesting some 460 pills, breathing 6x/minute and body t° of 31°C.
I'm still angry about being brought to the hospital. I had written a 'no-reanimation statement' (which is a legal document in my country).
Not to mention that I felt completely at peace - happy even - at the moment I ctb.
Now I have to start all over.

Hi people I'm new to the site. I have tried to take my life a few times. And I have every time ended up being unsuccessful. Close a couple of times, one time I ended up in a coma only to be revived and forced to live a life of misery.

But it was a combination of short-working benzo's, long-working benzo's and a tricyclic antidepressant.

My once before attempt at 26. Filled a bath. Cut into my arms deeply. Laid in bath. Warm water kept the blood flowing. I didn't die. I waited for ages. Water got very cold. I knew roommate was coming home soon, and didnt want her to find me bleeding and alive ( though finding me dead would have been traumatizing too ) . Called 911 on myself. Extremely embarassing. AND WHY???? Avicci succeeded with a broken wine bottle. Finally have both scars covered with tatoos.

A friend didn't want to tattoo my scars... I'm glad you did it.

Unfortunately all my attempts either ended up in being found and being taken to hospital or panicking and ringing for help myself. All very mortifying and the aftermath of that well im dealing with an aftermath of one right now. I need a new method ive finally learnt this isnt the best way to go nor the easiest.

Yeah, I have no idea how Avicii pulled it off so "easily". Cutting is probably not among the most reliable methods. I'm sorry you had to go through that.

Yep, feels like absolute shit ngl. Got caught in the middle of overdosing three times at the last place I was living
