someone else posted something similar to this abit ago and i related to it so im here talking about my personal experience in hopes of someone relating and offering advice.
i dont know when this started and i dont know why this started either but im guessing since late 2022 (so iwhen i was like 16) i started getting really insecure about being a girl and i dont know why. i feel like my life would be better if i was born male. whenever i dress up or wear something feminine i feel so out of place. i also hate when men hit on me. i think my parents would take me more seriously if i was a guy and so would everyone else. its part of the reason why i have SI tbh
just a disclaimer i am not transgender or a lesbian

That guy-girl thing goes back forever.
Insecurity will.make that tough for you because stopping it is unlikely. Unless you never go out, it will persist.
I am sorry you have to deal with this.

As a guy, sometimes I even wish that I was born as a girl, then maybe life would become so much more easier. I'm just being very honest in saying this.

You seem to imply that being a guy is much easier. But I would also say/argue, that as a guy, there's a phenomena nowadays called "Male Loneliness" (or that whole "incel" thing, which I'm sure you've probably heard/read about it at least). I don't want to sound like an incel-ish (because I'm not an incel, although lately I've been struggling a lot with male loneliness problems too), but as a guy myself, I just at least want to share from my perspective, so you can at least understand, that being a guy is not necessarily easy too. In fact, I would even say/argue that being a girl has its own 'privileges' that being a guy can't/don't have (well, of course this doesn't apply to the 'top-level' guys, obviously).

I think guy .vs. girl problems are almost on reverse (obviously?)

Again, I'm just being real honest here. No offense intended at all. Just sharing what's on my mind (& also based on my own personal life's experiences & problems).

You won't get understanding from normies or men, men have a victim mentality and think they are tortured victims and women live on easy mode bc we can get sex

Been the same since I was 5. It sucks. I wish I could tell you that things get easier, but they do not. You have to work twice as hard for the same shit as men get for free.

There are no big differences, from different aspects each gender carries its own difficulties. The problem of existence is a problem that goes beyond gender differences, unfortunately. The burden of life is certainly difficult to carry regardless of gender.

I am a trans guy, but given the misogyny in the world, I think most women will agree with you that it's very difficult to be a woman, or even a girl going through puberty, when you know what men think of you.

There's a female lonliness problem too. Men lust for them without actually treating them like people or actually trying to connect with them. The global lonliness problem is mainly linked to a lack of work-life balance, as the countries that have the largest issues with it are countries that encourage long hours, low pay, and prioritizing work over family. It can also be linked to mental health issues due to covid, the economy, climate change, humanitarian injustices, politics, etc.

lolwat.

i thought people on here would be more intelligent than the average but there always seems to be an exception to confirm the norm.

As for the thread on hand :
There is so much case on here with girls wishing to be guys and guys wishing to be girls...Idk who's wrong or right but i sure wouldn't say that the opposite sex of mine are just whiners and self imposed victims.

I'd say both have their problems...and both tend to understate those of the opposite gender.

I believe we all have masculine and feminine sides and both should be embraced. Males and females both have hard challenges they have to go through
