What was your experience like with taking SN but failing?

I recall a member using SN without any anti-emetics or acid regulators. It ended up horribly as you'd expect, he was puking and described the pain as bad as having a tooth pulled out. He told his sister and lost consciousness, and ended up getting saved.

Yeah, I did. I mixed 20g of SN with 6fl oz of water and failed to drink it.

Yup I failed. Followed the SN method in the PpeH exactly. Ended up puking for hours. Massive Stomach pain off and on for a week. Bad headache for over a week too. Never again.

Chose another method after that.

How can that be? You took the acid regulators, anti-emitics and a correct dosage of SN (not too much/little)?

I feel like the true answer to "how could that be" goes beyond most people's understanding if you really think about it. There is supposed to be a cause, which produces an effect. But even knowing the statistics doesn't help. 99% of shotgun shots to the head results in 100% death. But 1% survive? Supposedly 60% of SN poisonings are effective according to PPH. But 40% survive? There is a known case of a man who lived after falling 47 stories... Seriously, what is the true cause that governs the statistics that produces the effects? God? Karma? It's maddening when you really think about it. Surely there is an answer.

Exact amounts to the letter as outlined in PpeH. My body didn't react to it in the way it was supposed I suppose. This method wasn't meant for me.

I think what I bought was either not really SN or not really 99% pure like the bottle said. That's what I think.

Does anyone really think SN that is 80% or 75% pure would be any less deadlier than one that's guaranteed to be 99.97% pure? I get the reasoning but I also know of cases that are published where groups of people were poisoned and died after cooking with SN. This was sodium nitrite stored in open containers in humid kitchens. It probably wasn't always pure. The estimated amounts they consumed were far below 15g too. There is one known case where a nurse died from consuming 1 gram. I can appreciate wanting to have a recipe or formula for success, but I think it is a risk you would ultimately have to take. Some will succeed. Some will fail. But I don't think these numbers have much meaning.

This is actually my fifth attempt. The ones before this one were drug overdoses both with exit bags, drowning and water intoxication.

What I mean by "scientifically" is I read case studies, medical journals and news reports from a tonne of different online sources. I also read something called Final Exit and of course PpeH.

But I am by no means not even close to an expert.

Judging by my 6 failed attempts I would and should not even be considered anything but an incompetent failure obviously.

I also have had at least a dozen instances where I was going to go through with it but never did.

The 6 I mention are ones where I actually attempted.

I am in my late thirties.

@J F I don't need proof that you did but I can believe it. I think most people have unrealistic expectations that if you do X then Y should happen. The world obviously doesn't work that way, if you are paying attention. What amazes me is most people don't question why it is that way...

I am sorry have said something awful like this, It must have been hard each time for you, as Eddie as we should keep our minds open. But sometimes reports of failures make some of us(me) nervous of our chosen method and shake the foundation on which we try to take solace in.(as in this is something that not even god can take away from you , your choice to go when and how) i am sorry i am rambling , again extremely sorry.

I've lost my consciousness not long after that, my veins were blue in some places so I'm pretty sure I'd end up dead

Earlier this week user @Qbert allegedly woke up after 5 or so hours with a headache, stomach pain and dizziness. He said he took 20 grams and followed ppeh exactly, but the thread has since been removed/deleted and he hasnt responded to my DM so I have doubts of it's authenticity.
