Why do people comment on things they obviously haven't researched.

To check something you read or even worst "think" you read takes 2 minutes and allows people to get accurate informations. Personally I double check everything important because sadly I know that most people have the tendency to just repeat what they heard/read without even bothering to vérify if it's true. I don't think it's a matter of being concerned about something as trivial as the taste, but more so a concern of being able to get a lethal amount down without vomiting. it's everyone's personal opinions on what tastes good or what is their tolerance on something being palatable. I would just urge caution on how we communicate those opinions as some posts I could read as "it's too vile for any human consumption" which then puts people off the widely recognised best and most peaceful way to cbt.

I live in Thailand and pretty much all I drink is water, pineapple juice, watermelon juice and ginger tea. My gf gives me copious amounts of these drinks and I have a pretty shrewd feeling that it's not just because I like drinking them.

Coffee/cigs/alcohol/vinegar/dairy are all allegedly bad for you if you want to taste nice for your person. Since moving here I've had virtually none of the 'bad' list and I'm told even my body smells fresher and cleaner than it did 8 months ago when I got here - which I was kind of pissed off about as I consider myself a very hygienic person who showers and uses deodorant etc often.

A lot of Thai people I know don't even use deodorant (including my gf - which I didn't believe until I realised I'd never seen any in her bathroom) and you almost never smell B.O. here - unless it's from foreign types like me.

TL;DR: What you ingest really does affect how you smell and taste.

That's what I'm afraid of. Does anyone know what seems to work the best? So far I've seen mention of Botot, Miracle Berry, and eating chocolate or drinking vodka or brandy afterwards. I think disguising the taste of the N will be helpful to consume enough without throwing up.

It tastes like drinking 90%+ alcohol. If you get some 20% strength Orajel and mix it with water, swish it around your mouth for a minute or two, you'll numb your mouth and make it easier to drink the N.

You could also use an enema to absorb the N?

Emetics never worked for me. Before I take my SN I'm going to have a bit of toast 1/2 hour before. After I drink it I'll have something sweet to cut the taste. I have a tarp to put over my bed linens (just in case). I live alone so no one will find me until I miss work. So, If I do it on a Saturday I will not be found until at least Monday afternoon. By then I'm sure it'll be too late. It's all in the planning.
