Discussion Has anyone here fully recovered?

Just curious because I feel like with sites like these, I know most of us aren't encouraging anything harmful however I feel like anyone who is truly recovered won't come here. Similar to how I used to have the app 'I Am Sober' to track how long I stayed clean from self harm, but I only had it when I kept relapsing. Once it had been a long time, I just deleted it.

Not really. I have come a long way but there still things I need to do. Like for example sh I have relapsed a few times. Am I cure of it? No.

Theres no shame at all if you do relapse. Honeslty is to be expected (i dont mean it in a bad way) like going towards recovery. Plus being fully "recovered" isnt fully realistic is more of overcmoing or dealing better with your conditions im talking mental. Again my opinion if you dont agree with that sentiment is ok.

I'm not offended. I was just wondering, obviously it's good this place has a recovery section but I can't help but think despite that, nobody here is recovered. If they're recovered why would they be here, y'know?

Yes. Many users have accounts here and don't come here anymore~ While I'm sure many of those have passed or still struggle, I am aware of some users that have recovered~ :) however, I can't think of any names rn~ >_< Someone probably has mentioned some in the User Discussion Megathread~ :) tbh, I assume everyone who just disappears from here without an "I acquired X" post or goodbye thread as one of their last couple posts has recovered~ :) I know there was some doctor's account from a really long time ago that came back here after having recovered tho~ :)

That's a sweet way to think. It's kind of sad someone who seems to have such an optimistic mind is on a site like this. I hope whatever is broken inside you heals.
