Has anyone ever thought about using two methods at the same time?

Yes! I thought of it and even tried to do it!
My plan was OD with different pills + partial hanging.
(I ended up passing out too fast and couldn't hang myself lol)

When I was younger, I briefly contemplated combining cyanide and a firearm. I was looking for efficacy, and figured cyanide was a pretty terrible way to go, but blowing my face off and surviving would be infinitely worse.

Idea was to pop the cyanide and pull the trigger before it kicked in. Best case scenario, instant demise. Worst case scenario, I'm in excruciating pain (or, ideally shock) for a few minutes until the cyanide finishes the job.

Ultimately did not pursue because I did not want to traumatize people with a messy end... or stick someone with cleaning up the aftermath. Also worried that the remnants might inadvertently poison someone.

A couple years ago I had the thought of standing with my back parallel to the edge of the roof of a building and shooting myself, that way I'd fall off the building and if the bullet didn't kill me, the fall would.

This is nothing new for me. I always planned on using a dual-pronged approach, pretty much since my first suicide ideation when I was 7 or 8. I knew damn well how much trouble I'd be in if I survived. So two or even three methods at once would work best to keep me from surviving. For example, drinking SN and inhaling fumes from a bleach/Windex mix and using a firearm.

Unfortunately I found out it was impossible to OD on the pills I had (but maybe they would still make me fall asleep and try less to save myself once I'm in the water)

I would rather go to a more secluded place to jump but it isn't possible under lockdown

I tried similar while having the noose around my neck. There was a period where I was very intoxicated and didn't know what was going on. Easy to back out out of confusion that way I'm a afraid

On one video, a guy did it by mixing six methods.
Alcohol + pain killers. Then cut arm, then put some gasoline, attached a rope at a tree trank near a cliff, sit on the border and shot himself.
He felt from the cliff and was in fire.

It was benzos and alc. I have no experience with chloroform. But anything that wont just make you go unconscious in seconds carries the same risk I suppose. I too believe it's best to do one and do that one right. Partial is hard to pull off as it is already.

All i know is of that one combined chloroform mask and hanging .i tried to find something help me fall unconscious before hanging. And it seems good

What about amitriptyline (enough to knock you out) and then when drowsy, jumping from height? Would this work, or would the muscles be too relaxed and potentially help save the person?
I ask because although I favour the amitriptyline method, not sure I could down enough of them to reach the lethal dose. Similarly, not sure I could throw myself from height stone cold. So thought about combining the two.

Exactly my thoughts .i try to find it something to anesthisize me first before hanging

The only two I would mix would be Cyanide and Gunshot, as they are both fast and help secure if the other fails.

Nah death is not my main concern atm, but If I were to ctb I would do full suspension in the forest because it is sure and fast method also I love forests and It is pretty romantic and no questions asked method.
