Stopped exercising, antipsychotic drugs and antidepressants tend to increase weight. Also I moved to Canada. Lots of junk food here.

If I skip a meal I literally lose 5 pounds the next day lol.
I CANNOT gain weight unless I lift heavy and eat 3000+ calories everyday which is a fucking struggle. Currently at 6'0 165 lbs. Max I ever went was 180 which was super hard to gain through lifting, eating, etc.

Kind of the opposite I have lost weight from lack of eating. I have always struggled with weight.

Oh definitely, i use to be thin at a younger age but then i was put on a medication that made me gain weight quite fast, now i'm off that medication but gained myself a friend from the experience, he goes by the name potato.

Yes ive been gaining a lot of weight under the quarantine. The lack of exercise and eating crummy frozen food/takeout is making me gain weight.
My normal diet is fresh fruit, vegetable, and meat with little carbs but I'm paranoid to go to the grocery store so when I do I stock up on food that lasts I.e frozen and canned crap.

Thanks for the topic I liked reading the replies many relatable since I do both not eat then eat.
When it's depression I don't even drink water, I just don't think of it or care. When I stop having an urge to urinate for 12+ hours is when I realize and it usually hurts to pee. When I'm anxious i tend to want to stuff myself and can't get it down fast enough.
I did the anxious binge usually after work when I had a job. Like pent up anxiety unleashed because I was home. Every mistake I made. I ate very fast and a lot.

The drugs piled weight on me somehow... People say it's an excuse but definitely not as I couldn't give a shit about my appearance im just stating fact. It's hard to identify what weight it is too, water, fat, muscle?? It's really as if it's just flesh! I was up 3 stone fast with no changes in mood, lifestyle, or. Eating sleeping which you'd expect to be the precursors and what get the blame... They stayed the same.

How do you expect to gain weight eating the daily quoted for a male who lifts weight. Depending how heavy you train 3000 calories is probably under. You need to be eating 4500+

I used to eat my emotions away when I was a pre teen, it led me to become a fat teenager. I had anorexia and bulimia, lost a lot of weight. But since I started taking controlled medication for my depression and anxiety I've been gaining some weight. I hate it but I know how to control my impulses now, so I'm not really that worried about getting fat again.
I've gained some weight. Though I am trying to work-out and excercising, trying to get rid of this extra weight.

I am like that , after meds and a cup of tea I have no appetite I try to get 1 decent meal in but I do not always manage to, the guy in the next room (I live in a shared house) he is a chef and Egyptian and always trying to make me eat

Yep that's what antidepressant mirtazipine and antipsychotic quetiapine did to me!
I had a Gastric ulcer in 2009. Caused by Nsaids. Almost killed me. I had to have a blood transfusion of 4 pints. Was severely anaemic because of it and had a heart arrhythmia. Is your ulcer caused by painkillers like ibruprofen or is it H. Pylori?

My meals are really unbalanced and I'm battling anorexia, right now I think my weight is okay, I made sure that there's no digital scale because if I had one I would probably starve myself more than I do now. I live with my mother right now and Everytime she wants to buy a scale I'm just full of anxiety and idk why I need to explain to her the problem with a decision like that, I'm happy that she doesn't buy one, but god damn I hate those digital scales lol
Yes, def gained weight. Specially since I'm more depressed now I'm coping with food. Gained back the weight I worked hard to lose.
I did :) and say that i don't care, but honestly maybie i do wanna get in shape again, when i get the time.
