  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I've been struggling with the idea of not being able to say goodbye to my family and prepare them for the loss. Then I remembered about suicide tourism in Switzerland. I meet the requirements of Dignitas and am considering attempting to apply and fly there to ctb. This would mean I get to prepare my family, assets, etc. It wouldn't be a surprise and would hurt less, I imagine.

I'm wondering if anyone else has considered this option. It seems too easy, like way easier than other options posted here. I'm wondering why more people don't do it. If you have researched it, why is that not your top option? I feel like there's something I must be missing.

I would go in a heart beat, but my sickness is mental illness, which probably makes it next to impossible to get assisted suicide.

How long does it typically take?
No sure but at least couple of years with a terminal illness.

It's a true shame that mental illness is still viewed as somewhat imaginary in all corners of society, or at least having a much higher chance of recovery than physical illness. It's one thing if to be depressed or in mental anguish for a couple of years, it's another when this is the case all your life.

Did you apply for Dignitas or Pegasos?
