I am scared to hang myself.. i wish someone could strangle me to death..

To me hanging sounds like an unpleasant method and what holds me back is the fear of failure. It is my worst nightmare failing ctb and being trapped in a worse quality of life. I deserve a peaceful death, I should not have to resort to methods that can fail. It is cruel how the society expects people to suffer for decades even if they are in unbearable pain.

I feel you. I'm also scared of hanging but it's the most reliable method I can access. I'm thinking to be drunk when attempting it so I can reduce the fear but it can be risking to be drunk when attempting full suspension. I wish you the best.

My hangman knot is already tied but I fear I may lose balance when trying to stand on the chair. I don't want to create unnecessary sound.

Please be aware that hangman's is for long drop only. Otherwise you want a slip knot, or your last moments will be very uncomfortable. Your life, you choose how long you can keep it up or how you end it, but I would recommend a better knot.

I second the other person in regards to your knot. Not sure what you mean by losing balance since surely you'll be 'losing balance' when you step off the chair to ctb?

I understand what you saying but I choose hangman on purpose. I know most use slip knot for full suspension but I fear it might untie during the process. I tied my hangman in a way it will tighten easily. I once came close to losing consciousness during a high partial suspension attempt and I used hangman knot. If I've used full I would have been dead for good.

Fair enough. If you've tested it and it works then go with what you're comfortable with. I understand the fear of it coming loose l. That's why I tied a couple of stopper knots on the end of rope :)

My rope? I don't know the exact mm but I think it's in the range of 8-15mm
