Help Full Hanging From Balcony

Basically the title. Could I hang myself full from a balcony? I'm on the third floor and it doesn't face the road. I assume all it takes is tying the one end to the balcony and then putting the other end around my neck and jumping off.

No one to spot me though and supposedly according to all the posts about hanging even if someone did me after I jump off by the time anyone got to me I'd be dead. Unless I misunderstood something.

probably work, you'd just have to make sure the knots are tight enough

just thought about this, but i'd suggest taking 4-6 mg of xanax. hanging is not pleasent (from personal experience), and why not get stupid high while you go out

Just because you pass out doesnt mean you are dead. I drank 345 MGs of Methadone, they pumped my chest while administering the antidote ( whatever its called, who cares? ) I suspect it was a lot. I was told Im alive, only because they refused to take no for an answer. Never underestimate somebody showing up. This method also isnt that pleasant. There are more then a few testimonials from people who hung themselves here. At least one is mostly blind now. Think about it is all Im saying really.

It depends on were you fix the rope, normally the railing isn't designet for such a load. At least you should not jump in order to reduce the force.
You have to be sure that nobody interferes for half an hour.

I agree with Gustav here, balcony railing may be sturdy against your body weight pushing on them but they aren't designed with the sudden force of your body weight + acceleration from the jump. Also wouldn't the 2nd floor balcony be right behind you after you jump? That's a really easy place for anyone to get a hold of you and save you.
