Hanging practise before the real attempt?

I plan to go by hanging from a high tree, but since it will be the final attempt, I can't practise after I put my head through the tree noose. So, I'd like to know how I can practise indoors first?

Maybe try pulling it with your hand first to see how it feels or hold the upper side of the rope with your hand through an anchor point and see if you can go unconscious
