• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

I think I am going to ctb by hanging. Wasn't my first option but I'm on a short timeframe now and it's all I have access to. I want death to certain so I've decided on full hanging, as that's what I've heard is most reliable. Can someone explain to me how I should position the rope on my neck so I fall unconscious quickly? I don't really want to suffer to long you know. Chat GPT says "judicial hanging" can break my neck and cause death almost immediately, would this be easy to pull off?

The "judicial hanging" means full hanging suspension with a high drop, there's a calculation of height and all of these things, is more complicated, like the guy said up if you go to the SS hanging megathread you can find what you want

You'll want the ligature around your neck, just below the jawline, and the knot at the back of your neck.

Make sure there's at least an hour timeframe before anyone could find you, or you risk becoming a vegetable if you're saved.

A slipknot is the easiest knot to do and compresses on your carotids nicely (if it's in the proper position) with the weight of your body.

I tried answering you back last night. Not sure if you saw it or not. It doesn't seem like my private chats are working…

Ah okay got it! Thanks for the info. Do you think this rope will work: it's 1/2 inch thick, nylon, 25 ft

Oh also so okay a slipknot for around the neck but what about the knot tied to the anchor point?

That rope should be fine. I see a lot of suggestions saying to tie it off beforehand, and try and hang from it with all your body weight. If it does, then it should be strong enough. The body convulses and thrashes while it's dying so it needs to be strong enough to support that.

I'm honestly not sure about a knot for the anchor point. I hadn't really thought about that part 😬

a bowline is very safe for tying a rope to an anchor point-tutorials are readily available on YouTube

Me 2 having short timeframe and me 2 have chosen full suspension.
As far as much I've gathered information:

Snuggle Hitch Knot to anchor point

Noose Knot to the neck (make a difference with slipknot) personally I'm choosing Noose Knot but as far as I'm understanding slipknot is ok too.
BUT im still slightly uncertain about Noose Knot like maybe it needs more loops???

Rope: I've ordered "polypropylene 10mm rope" and "10mm static rock climbing rope". And despite people are saying that "10mm static rock climbing rope" is the best - from my testings it is not very flexible and polypropylene rope tightens much better around the neck and rock climbing rope tightens very bad in comparison leaving much space between a knot and a neck in the back.
