Hallucination with charcoal method

This is a weird worry, but I'm more worried about hallucinations that I'd experience with the charcoal method.

Did anyone try this and fail? Did you have any scary hallucinations?

For my part, I'm going to make sure the ppm is greater than 10000 to ensure I pass out quickly.
