Method Gun suicide - Would this work?

If a person wants to kill themselves with a 0.44 handgun, what do you think about duct taping the mouth shut tight, then at the end duck taping the nose so when the person shoots themselves they can make sure to not breath afterwards. I'm afraid of the chance of survival.

Also does someone know exactly where to aim? I think temple might be good right?

Seems completely unnecessary to me.

Just research where to aim so you take out your brain stem. You aren't surviving that.
