Not guilty. But I wouldn't judge a person who did. We all have ways to cope, even if some people see it as manipulation. I just see it as another reason why some people are even more deserving of love and attention. They probably think pretty low of themselves for doing that. They shouldn't. Hopefully, they'll find someone who overlooks their trait as an "unreliable narrator" and simply cares for who they really are, underneath all their layers. No matter how long it takes to get there.
