To be fair, I'm not having an issue with this person. They seem to be creating their own web of issues.

OP is clearly in a very uncomfortable situation and they're asking for genuine advice. I don't understand why some members thought it's particularly helpful to shame this person. If they describes themselves as being manipulated and abused by their partner, then that's to be taken at face value. Nothig in the opening post indicates that OP is lying and there is no reason to point fingers and victim blame. Warnings have been given to those who use this thread to insult the OP and derail the conversation. Such posts do nothing but create a hostile atmosphere in this forum. Thanks.
