Hi. I have stage 4 esophagus cancer. I may ctb via SN. Any medically knowledgeable team members out there who can advise? See,I got tumors in my esophagus, but,they tell me,not in my stomach. But my stomach is fucked up it seems,with a lot of acid,and weirdly, water in the stomach. Most food tastes like shit,and I get a stom. ache when I eat.
Would SN be bad? Id hate to make SN,notify the authorities, and then just vomit it all up! Anyone have info? Anyone? Bueller?

It all sounds scary but if your stomach is not healthy SN should be a problem..... I'm sorry.....

I can't give any medical advice but I do know how SN works at a basic level. The main reason for failure is vommiting so if you are more prone to that it may affect meto dosage. I can't give you any recommendations for dosing if that's the case.

The other difference for you would be stomach acid. I'm unsure of how exactly it works but I know depending on how much stomach acid you do have can determine how much SN gets converted to NaCl. I believe antacids do affect your stomach acid in a way less SN gets converted to NaCl.

All I can really recommend is to look into antacids and learn more about your condition if you don't know the specifics about stomach acid. Sorry I can't be much help.

I´m answering this question from a medical point of view, independent of my view on SN and concerning only your condition. I say this to avoid further debate regarding SN.

First of all, I want to say that I´m sorry for the terrible state of health you are in. I can imagine how this affects your entire life.

If you have abdominal pain right after eating, this indicates 3 possible causes: gastritis, stomach ulcers, stomach cancer.
If you feel like you have water in your stomach, the reason could be a disease of the small intestine that affects digestion.

This means that not only the digestion of food is impaired, but possibly also the metabolization of substances.
If you ingest an aggressive substance, this can also lead to internal bleeding and rupture of mucous membranes.
This can be extremely painful and in case of failure with the method, this can significantly worsen your condition.
For this reason, I would not use a method that requires swallowing any aggressive substance in your case.

In your condition you would qualify for VAD in Switzerland. I don't know where you live and I'm not asking. But this might be an option if you have the money.

I get stomach ache if I eat too much or too fast,but no matter what,even drinking water,will give me some problems. Shit,I haven't had a diet coke in 6 months! I appreciate the help. I need to think about this a long time. Never thought this would happen to me.

Nope,not really. I am ctb prone because of my disastrous personal life and current situation. On top of that,I am told,back in March,that I am stage four. So now I'm thinking,if this cancer shit begins to destroy me,I might be forced to ctb.
How I wish things turned out differently!
