I found this tiny tiny kitten a couple of days ago, her mother got poison and left 4 tiny kittens, so i took this tiny fur ball, and now it become so clear to me the infinite resilience of life, orphan and cast away this tiny kitten was ment to die yet whit his tiny claws hold to me whit such determination that i just had to save her,it also became aparent the dedication that is need to nurse a life, give her milk whenever she wants it even if its 4 am, keep her warm but not to warm, keep her close but not to close so she can develop. Life is truly a wonderfull thing, but i guess we all here have been so terrible unlucky that we came to be here. Rage agaisnt the coming of the dark brothers, give it your all just to spite the cruel universe itself

You should consider feeding her lactose free milk. Although kittens should be able to deal with lactose, once they get a little older, some cats loose the ability to digest lactose and it can cause gastrointestinal upsets and diarrhea.

People have different opinions on this, my grandparents have a farm and they give their cats just pure unprocessed cow milk and the cats look healthy. A few kittens even lost their mom and survived from cow milk alone.

Definitely sounds like a match made in heaven in your case. I have a calico friend, too, so these tricolour furballs have a special place in my heart.

My cat is what kept me alive during my worst times. There's something special about giving an animal a beautiful life despite your own life being horrid. I get to give him the life I crave, and knowing that I give him such a happy existence makes me feel better

Yes it's amazing what another soul can do. My partner saw our grandkids yesterday - I was busy so couldn't meet them. One of the grandkids (3 years) said to my partner, "Where's Grandad?" and although it wasn't emotional comment for me, I found that really touching, and gave me a positive fillip so any suicidal thoughts I might have been having were banished from my mind.

I really want a pet, maybe a cat as well, but I don't think I should. They have such short life spans compared to ours and I have trouble letting things go like that. But I never pass up the opportunity to pet one. :)
