• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

My preference is a delayed post that is sent out after I have CTBed.

While I really feel for people who write goodbye threads because it's tough and you need support at that time. But I think I want to convey there is certainty I am gone,

I have always wondered how many of those people who have written goodbye threads were successful. It's NOT a criticism because anyone has the right to change their mind, without embarrassment.

I guess for me, I like the sense of success that a delayed post would give.

And maybe it's because I have already written one.

Agreed, I prefer the certainty of a delayed post over a goodbye thread. It's quite a strange feeling to read a goodbye thread and not know if I'm reading the words of someone who's dead or alive. Kinda... unnerving?

I agree with you on this one. It also centers on how real what you are doing. It's delivered after you have CTB. To bad you can't read the responses

Personally I wouldn't do either, as I don't know if an attempt will be succesful. It would feel kind of awkward in case I fail.

well a delayed post here can be set to post several days or weeks in advance. If CTB fails, you cancel the post, if it doesn't well.....
