I am so sorry it came to this, A. I did not know you very well but often read your posts here and we occasionally interacted on Discord. You always came across as kind, brave, intelligent and as someone who stuck to their principles (such as your passion for animal rights). You didn't deserve the awful illness you had to live with or the pain you endured.

I am sad to see you leave, but if you proceeded with your plan, I truly hope you are at peace. You were (and always will be) a beautiful soul. Aireoidh muid uainn thú.

Wondered why she hadn't been around in a few days, it still doesn't feel real. This was really shocking to read. I pray her transition was peaceful and not at all reminiscent of her past experiences where others had put unnecessary pressure on her and made her feel uncomfortable.

A was an amazing person who held firm to her convictions, cared enormously for animals and her family, and always tried to smile and have a good time in spite of the troubles she had with her illnesses. She was beautiful on the inside and out, and knew how to appreciate the things that made life worthwhile. We lost a good one.

I have been thinking about her all day, even though I have never once laid eyes on her or ever will, in this lifetime anyway.

I wish there was an "In Memoriam" post for those who would wish to be remembered after their passage. Many don't, and I respect that. But a post that could be bumped, so we could think of them and send our energy their way. Probably a silly thought and a logistical nightmare to do, but I don't care.
