Me either, but a friend told me a few months after the song came out. Listened to it with that in mind and yep, definitely fits.

It's an older song but I think it's being used in some vampire series now.

This song.....it's popular still, but recently I read an article where one of the other members of the band asked Chris "Who's he waiting on?" Chirs' reply? "He's waiting on death, man". Made the song so much more personal and actually makes me cry. I get that level of suffering and it breaks my heart.

Yes another great song. I'm old so I know this song. Did you know the lead singer Chris Cornell cbt'd in 2017? Makes the song even more poignant.

Yeah.....makes the song even more heartbreaking. Him, very likely surrounded by people who cared, blessed in many ways, yet struggled so hard he ctbed in a brutal way. Tells me he was desperate to leave since he felt nobody could help. Just goes to show you you don't have to be alone to be alone.

I made a post about this yesterday how ultimately we are all alone in our own heads no matter who we are surrounded by. We come into this world alone and we die alone.
