Going with SN tonight

I originally didn't intend to post a goodbye thread, because I don't want fanfare or problems for the site, but I decided I owe it to the community to post my own example of SN, knowing how many people are considering the method.

I'm doing the 48 hours meto regimen + stat dose of acid reducers + a little Xanax. I'm planning late night tonight. (Central European Time).

Big thank you to this community for the support it gives to its members. It meant a lot to me in these past five months.

I really want to write a proper farewell poem. I really do. I tried to write one but my mind felt so numb and blocked. I couldn't create one.

I decided to serenade your departure with my old poems instead. Fortunately, they combined really well. With this poem, I shall say my final goodbye.

Diva

Her serene hymn serenades even the unfilled
What's her name? That Ghost Lady on the hill
Her lyrics are more than enough to fill the bill
Was she the diva that made the time stood still?

Melodious refrains reverberate, easing my misery
Harmonious rhapsody vibrates, sinking in memory
Oh Diva of the hill, your song didn't set me free
Your chorus held me captive in deep reverie

The Diva shall depart, my world is silenced
Leaving behind faint echo of closing verse
Her songs sprinkled on my soul like sweet pollens
I yearn for more encore to quench my thirst

I can't bear the sorrow of muted tomorrow
The still melancholy without your serene melody
I shall remember your warm and loving glow
Until I play the final note of my ragged symphony

I'm so sorry that you've got to this point sister. I hope that you can find an end to your suffering that brings you the peace you seek. However you decide to walk your path I hope your journey is calm and I wish you peace, love and understanding.
