After hearing some feedback, we've decided to start banning users after posting a final goodbye thread / saying their final goodbyes.

The reason is that it will lock the account from being used by other people after the user's departure, including family, friends, and strangers. It will also lock the send and receive PM features. This adds a layer of security to the account after it becomes unused.
Should the user come back and wish to return, they can always make a ban appeal.

If you're preparing your departure, please contact a mod so we can help with preparations.
