If you could become a different animal than a human (you'd choose what and the life it would have) instead of ctb would you?

I always wanted to experiment with flight. Being an avian creature would be nice, although that food and comfort would likely be harder to attain compared to if I was a domestic cat.

Domestic dogs are often deformed. Many have problems like joint pains. Orcas and dolphins are locked up in aquarium like a toy. Sadly animals liked by humans don't usually go well.

Fortunately most Ocras on earth aren't in aquariums. I don't think the United States and Canada is capturing them anymore tho unfortunately the few ones that are left are still there. I don't know about other countries policies tho

Yes the further away from human reach the better. In some places there are dolphins watching tours. They are probably less cruel than aquariums but the engine noise is probably still very annoying because dolphins have good hearing.

absolutely, I think my inability to meet the high requirements for living life as a human is a big factor in what makes life not worth the cost to me. plus, I'd say most other animals could get themselves killed more easily than humans can, should the need arise.

I would like to be a dog... But that still doesn't change the fact that this planet sucks for almost all species. But being a bird (ideally a large one that can't be hunted by other birds) just to shit on people's heads sounds hilarious.

Depends on if I'll keep my human mind. If I got to keep it, then what's the point? If not, it's basically ctb with a reincarnation afterlife. tbh, maybe I'd go for a predatory bird, something that flies fast, high in the sky.

That assuming the planet isn't destroyed or something. If it was, I'd perfer ctb, or being a meek lifeform like bacteria (If I MUST pick).
