genuine question. is trying to jump off the golden gate bridge even worth it now that there are nets? i've heard only 8 people have successfully done it. i don't know how many have tried since its been installed so i don't know the statistical rate. and if not. the bay bridge doesn't have nets just tall fences from oakland to yerba buena island. would that work?

from the official golden gate bridge site, it says it has decreased 87% since the nets. before it would average around 30 jumpers a year but in 2025 there was 4 confirmed deaths
