Can we come together and discuss methods we know have worked for others? I just feel as if most of the posts I see are educating on why a method isn't successful. Which is helpful don't get me wrong. But I am more interested in knowing how to get it right the first time and not make an attempt an attempt, but a success story. I know many folks have been around the block but I'm ready to get off the bus now. Most methods I put up get knocked out because they're unreliable or perceived as painful. But I think if we can break the 3rd wall here we'd have more success stories and less longing for the end. Can anyone empathize with me. I'm tired of just scrolling on this site reading long threads and getting the Sunday scaries when I feel like I made my mind up. This isn't to bash those contributing to thoughts or ideas but I want to know what does work. I'm interested in drowning or ODing. I know one is a nonmethod and the other is heavily advised against. Too much goes into PSH and FSH. I've got a gun but again. I just need full proof 10-12 hour method. Or a general success story of someone you knew or know. Thanks in advance fellow bus riders

Thank you again for the resources. These are what I have seen on a vast majority of threads posted. I'm moreover giving context to what is typically discussed. A person may say that my preferred method is a handgun. Then many will argue that a handgun isn't sufficient you need a shotgun.. ect. What I am asking to start a discussion around is if any method has worked. Is there a thread of successful examples or methods that are here for those who don't have the search function. I am most certain many of us are tired of discussing methods, I know I am. I just want to know who has knows a method someone used on this site that got them the result intended. Many people are not financially eligible to purchase a handful of things to complete their goals. Which I am looking to those who have more dust on their membership to respond to what may or may not have worked for those who they have seen on this platform at one time or another

You can search for goodbye threads. There was a recent one, in fact. Though usually their profiles can't be viewed and I dunno if you can search their name, so you won't know how they died. People can also come back. It's a shame in terms of information.

I like the concept of your post. Agree with what you're saying. I'm not aware of any od or drowning success stories here. Psh seems like 99% failure stories. Fsh works and isn't complicated though. Just SI which all methods have. I'm not clear on why the gun isn't an option. Other than SI.

Well most will say that the likelihood of using a gun depends on where you are aiming it. Then debate regarding that. Theres a lot of semantics that go on into it. Then there's buck shot, deer shot, and many more pieces that are confusing at best. For FSH you need the rope and an anchoring point. Literally don't have an anchor point of a high degree. And even with Psh or FSH I feel like you have to be a Boy Scout to get the knots right. Or encourage others to catch the bus if they don't want to. But I am ready and every method presents as a non-method.

It's beyond frustrating. I love that this is an outlet. I have seen it to be a resource but again most of it isn't much use in terms of completing the goal per to say. I haven't unfortunately gotten that ability, as of yet to execute the search feature. But I wish I had it. Do you find it to be any more useful or is it much more expansive of what the regular suicide discussions are.
