Help General advice for partial hanging?

I know doing research myself is encouraged, but I'm disoriented and have limited time right now, so I don't do it well.

I'm planning to do suspension hanging with a cable and a pole on the closet. But every time my vision fades I freak out and stand up.

Additionally, I am in an apartment so people might notice if I had seizures, although I could lock the door, I have no idea how long it can hold.

Can I get some advices/ some sorta pointer in order to do this?

This, like most all methods, requires preparation, planning, and some trial and error.

There is no quick and easy method.

Thanks, I've been lurking around, so I can see what you mean here. But full suspension hanging isn't really available rn, so I need to resort to partial smh.

Maybe I'll need some impulse to carry this out, I've read the posts, use slipknot, position in the middle, at the back, and get strong anchor, I just need to stop standing up.

I myself am in a wheelchair which makes rigging up something for full suspension difficult.

All I can do is encourage you to laboriously read through the hanging mega thread, as you don't want to end up worse off than you already are.

I appreciate that - that is very thoughtful of you.

You, and people like you, are why I keep coming back to this place. With the cesspools of ugliness that so dominates the social media landscape, I find it so refreshing how empathetic, supportive, and caring people are here. It really is crazy that a community of people that the rest of the world would label as crazy, callous, and insensitive, is actually the opposite. I have never in my life seen such an outpouring of love between complete strangers, as I have seen in this place.

All I can say is read through that hanging mega thread - it will take time, but it will arm you with the knowledge you need.
