Hi, I have SN and it will be my first option.
However if that fails, I'm thinking I would take an airplane
and get to the Beachy Head somehow from London Airport.
Of course, when the Corona outbreak stops.
However, I'm not sure how would I get there.
I think I could get a taxi to get from the airport to the city, but what then?
Are there any train, bus options?
Where would I buy tickets?
And so on.
By the looks of it, I could take taxi to London Victoria train station and from there take a train to Eastbourne.
I would then take a taxi or either walk there.
Cool.

That's fine, I didn't need to know an exact country. I was just curious if you were travelling halfway across the world just to get to beachy head.

Google maps has options for things like bus routes etc. I'm not local to that area so cant say for sure what busses to take or trains.

@Jumper Geo is our resident beachy head specialist lol.

I never new I became the resident expert, lol OK you can fly into Gatwick Airport it's under one hour direct by train to Eastbourne otherwise from London you will need to go to London Victoria train station and it takes just under 90 minutes to Eastbourne, go early and have a look around town and it would be best to get a taxi to BH and be :smiling: otherwise if your depressed or suicidal they will inform the suicide squad who will meet you there.

Good luck, I hope things get better and you just have a short holiday,

I suppose it does give me a chance to play my favorite video, :smiling:

Cheers

Well, back on track...

From the train station you can take the 13X to the BH Pub. I'd go have a pint and then walk across the street to the cliffs.

I'd be careful with the pub, it's probably the #1 place they look for people who seem out of place and start asking questions

Yes I agree especially as it's low season and with Covid-19 you may be the only customer, :smiling: so they will engage you to see if your a jumper, saying that I would  a Stella session first but they will report you or worse ways tip of the https://bhct.org.uk/meet_the_team that your on your own.

They report anything suspicious, maybe better to just bring a rucksack filled with booze, and party, :smiling:

Cheers

I found the exact spot I'd jump from, (highest point, protruding, steep rock face slope, hard landing). I'm not sure though if you need to think about the tide, if it's high tide you might end up landing in water, probably not ideal?! Personally I don't want to be drowning with broken legs even if it does just last 30 seconds or whatever

You can spot the successful area's as there with be crosses, RIP previous jumpers and the base jumpers go from the highest point.
