Friday is the day

So, I plan to kill myself on Friday. Not really looking for anything, just had to say it to someone somewhere because it's hard to hold it all in. I haven't really been here long or posted much but I have spoken to a few people and for that, thank you. This place was really a comfort, if only to know I'm not fully alone and to see others openly discuss their feelings without a negative reaction.

I've set Friday as my hoped for date but I'm buying a gun in CA so it's a little complicated.
The world is bizarre now I know I'm ready. I still go to work, which is weirder, because I work at parties interacting with people who're having a ball. Clients love me and speak highly of me and it all just feels bizarre.
I've cut the rest of my interactions down to solely my partner and I broke up with her yesterday. I do need to convince her that it's not her fault without giving the slightest hint of what I'm doing. I feel awful for her and the cats but I'll make sure she won't be the one to find me.
