They say it's because it's a "potential terrorism poison". As if anyone could successfully poison an unwilling person with N... Every account I've read states that it tastes utterly abhorrent... and for an unsuspecting individual to drink the amount needed to kill without noticing the taste of DEATH on their tongue is damn near impossible. Unless they're considering that the 'offender' might possess medical knowledge and could theoretically incapacitate and then repeatedly inject a person with multiple syringes worth of it?
Or maybe the act of suicide itself counts as "terrorism" to them. It wouldn't surprise me if it did. That's pretty much North Korea's attitude toward it & I've come to find that America isn't entirely dissimilar in its treatment of individual freedoms & bodily autonomy.
