Do you think being drunk helps? Being sober was probably the reason why I failed my last attempt. I plan on drinking this time.

You can do practically all methods when you are drunk. Jumping, hanging, firearms, SN/N, CO, etc. Where do you plan on doing it?

Definitely not the only way to avoid si. Just the cheapest and easiest to access.

What are some other ways besides drugs and alcohol? Man I wish someone would just kill me. It would be brutal but at least it would be guaranteed death. SI is such a mindfuck.

Well, I was leaning toward drugs. Diazepam would probably be my first choice, but codeine, oxy, perks, h, and even benadryl would help.

Funny that I would have 0 si if I found someone to give me lead poisoning. Same if I had pure f, or injectable N.

Edit: addys, meth, or coke maybe wouldn't help with si, but you would feel amazing right to your last moments.

Not the only way. I aim to do it with good old fashioned willpower. Just like how I can stop hiccups.

But on a serious note, I would advise against ctb while drunk as I'm of the opinion one should be of sound mind when making the most final decision. Then again, it is your choice. So to answer your question I'd say the best method is to jump from a very high place.

I think it's unwise to get drunk because you might get too relaxed & even nod off.

I need all the help I can get to overcome SI. Having a few drinks before hand sounds like a good idea to me.

For me it's the other way around. I have a few drinks and I feel so good I no longer want to CTB

For me I plan to be drunk if I choose the CO method. Exactly like that scene from House of Cards.

Guy gets drunk and passes out in car with engine running in garage.

This would also work with charcoal in a tent. I have the added bonus that drinking alcohol makes me very sleepy. I won't wake up

If you are drunk your attempt may fail, no matter what method you choose. But being tipsy sounds like a good idea I will consider. If someone was to be executed, it was a mercy to offer him a drink, it makes dying easier.

Would like to be nice and drowsy and disorientated before doing hanging I don't want to feel the pain or possible choking. Or at least be less aware of it.

I guess...if you prepare everything in advance. Wouldn't try tying a noose when drunk.

Please say more re alcohol and Benzos. What is the lethal dose? What would this be like?

I am still enduring mental illness for now and have a method under my bed, but would love a better one!

I know. Been here a while! But alcohol and Benzos?? Been having suicidal ideation as they call it for over 30 years. Lol when I asked doctor to double my SSRI she said do you promise you won't OD? I said yes because it wouldn't work! She said, 'I know it doesn't work, but some try it anyway'. She is so young my doctor. I thought she was sweet and kind and non-judgemental.
Ps people drown when drunk. It's probs painful but easier than sober...

Alcohol and benzos probably still won't work I'm afraid. Just give you organ and brain damage. I mean it could depending on the dosage but it's not very likely. But you know, passing out and drowning is my dream method. Idk why. I would've done if ages ago if I had a pool. Hell, I'd do it in my bathtub but I have this dumb fear of somehow dislodging the plug while I'm passed out and the water draining out lol.

One method you can do while drunk is alcohol poisoning, but I really don't know how reliable it is or what the chances are of vomiting ruining the ctb, but some people do crazy things like 40 shots in an hour and it is sometimes fatal.

You really shouldn't add alcohol to the SN regimen. It increases the probability of throwing up the SN solution, and the most important part of the process is keeping the solution in you.

To me you can do everything even when drunk, I had done all my attempts while being drunk and completely wasted, what failed wasn't my state but being found.

Probably a gun with 15 degrees to the mouth, aligned with your ear.
So you would hit the brainstem + medulla oblongata in one shot.

Your nerves can travel 150meters/second at your brain, a bullet travels 300~350m/s, so If you hit precisely, you wouldn't even hear the noise of the shot before catching the bus (this is what my research showed).

And you can do it wherever and however you want to, including drugged or drunk.

Probably my 3rd or 4th option for a bus catching.

speedball, or its twin sister, the goofball, would likely achieve both if you keep redosing. "both" meaning death and euphoria.

actually, one method someone can do while (aiming to get) drunk is methanol poisoning…make your own moonshine, followed by death in agony. would not recommend.

I get the point of Judah's post. it's difficult completing attempts when extremely sluggish/intoxicated. though like many others have said, drowning can be a viable option.

Sorry, don't mean to hijack, but I plan to take oxy to help with the SI using inert gas. I don't really have a tolerance built up as I haven't taken it, only a few random 50mg Tramadols. I don't know how much I should take. I don't want to have some vomit reflex mess with the bag + mask I plan on using.
