Have everything ready to go. 250grams of sodium sulfide 60%. And a galloon of hydrochloric acid. From all my research into the detergent method i have probably the most efficient way possible. Instead of using pesticides/pet dips and diluted hcl i finally have pretty much the most effective way to produce h2s. Anyone want to share some insights or knowledge they have from this method? Or a way to make it even less traumatic.
My main concern is now this. In a car that's 3000L how quickly will the levels of h2s increase. If at 1-2k range its pretty much 1 breath and done, how fast will that level increase to. In theory with this set up it will produce up to 14600ppm which obviously is instantaneous lights out, what I worry is the speed of increase. Sodium sulfide is far far more reactive then the calcium polysulfide from pet dip or pesticides people normally use as its a salt that instantly dissolves so in theory and from all my research it should hit over 1k levels in seconds but I still worry alittle.

I dont know much about that method. Been a while since I've even seen it mentioned I think. More popular in Asia If I remember right. They say in the west the detergent is different, and results in a lot of failures? I researched it a while ago.

Yea in Japan they used a detergent or pet dips. In the United States you can still get pet dips and pesticides that contain the product, but I went right for the apple and bought the precise chemical for the reaction to be maximum efficient. Well maximum speed of reaction atleast. It was hard sourcing it but I managed.
