Specifically I recently bought two guns, a .22lr and a 12 gauge shot gun. Even though they're aware I've recieved my firearms licence, I haven't told my family I bought any yet so they'll be in for a surprise when I ctb. The reason for buying two is that I wanted to practice actually shooting it at the range and figured someone like me only bringing a 12 guage would be suspicious. Plus, I had the money and I actually quite like guns so what the heck.

I'm super excited finally ctb but I'm having a hard time finding a good location. I was thinking the woods because I don't want anyone to put a lot of effort cleaning up my remains but I live in a very urban area with a lot of children so I don't want any kids finding me.

I was also thinking about writing my final goodbyes to my friends just before I do it but they're aware of my suidical ideation so it might be risky.

As for the date, I still haven't decided yet. I wanted to do it before uni starts but it's literally starting tomorrow and I don't think I have my duck in order yet.

Anyway, just an update on that, but overall super happy.

How do you plan on shooting yourself? I was going to go with carbon monoxide but now I'm interested in this method what made you choose this as your exit ticket?

I'm planning on taking some sort of blood thinner such as asprin 45 minutes before hand and using a 12 gauge slugshot through the mouth, tilted slightly upward to the brain stem. I'd say it's one of, if not the most quick and painless methods because with a slug your head basically explodes into mush.

I settled on this method because a gunshot to the head has a 99% success rate of ctb. I've always wanted a gun too and after researching how to get a license in Canada it was a no brainer (pun intended).
Despite attempting once in highschool I was still able to obtain my license and successfully buy two guns. Still I'm glad about that.

Lucky, if carbon monoxide goes to shit, I'll try to get a gun license too. The only thing I'm scared of is that I'm a really HUGE coward, so I'll struggle with pulling the trigger. Carbon monoxide is slower, and I just kinda have to sit there and wait to fall asleep forever. So I really think you're brave for this. I wish I had the guts like you. I wish you all the luck in the world, and I hope you get to relive some good moments before you go <3

I'll be using the Maverick 88 Security shotgun and the Winchester Super X Hollow Point Slugs.

Carbon Monoxide will take quite a while to fully kill you, you'll have to make sure you don't wake up in the middle of it so your SI doesn't kick in.
I really hope this works out for me.
Best of luck to you too.

Like others said a timed email may be best, also I once read that a 22lr is actually one of the best guns to ctb with since the bullet can enter the head, but is not powerful enough to get out to it will just bounce around a few times making it quick and not at messy as the 12GA but idk this for sure just something I read once.

a few of the only things i'll add is 1. i would put the barrel in at least 2 inches inside the mouth, not just barely inside.

2. practice makes perfect . can't aim , see yourself in mirror , know where the brainstem is enough. . most important is dry firing making sure don't flinch before shot . you have to keep everything perfectly stil you the gun the only thing that moves is the trigger and the trigger finger slowly . yeah practice shooting at the range too make sure you can hit targets.

i saw your choice of gun and slug .seems pretty good to me . i would go for that for myself .

I wish I had a gun. I'm glad you're one of the ones who has a quick exit. Everything else seems too risky and drawn out.

Actually, it's possible—it all depends on the angle. It's a slim possibility, but that's why you see individuals with their faces blown off (and lived). Of course, there's also permanent brain damage.

Thankfully, unlike my previous state, my current one doesn't require a license, permit, etc. It also allows online ordering... which I've done, in order to avoid any awkward conversations in the store. My order is already paid for... so once I get the call that it's been shipped from the warehouse and is ready for pickup, all I need to do is show up, have my background check run, and leave.

Of course its possible if the gun is under the chin, thats why i said, through the mouth.12 gauge through the mouth is 100% fatal. period

Oh, sorry, but what kind of weapon is this? The hammer practically exploded.

I would be careful with that. 5G provides a really precise location, within a few feet.

They would sned police and paramedics quickly and if they could "save" you and force you to live as a quasi-vegetable to please their imaginary religious gods, they would do it. People don't always die immediately from guns, depending on the shot.

Right, go to google and type in "watch people die Ronnie McNutt" the gun he used was a bolt action rifle, less powerful than a 12 gauge, then come back to me and we discuss who surviving what ok 👍

Has anyone ever thought of shooting the neck so that you can bleed out? I guess if you miss the carotid artery then it won't work so most people just go for the brain stem.
