All i have left is memories

Used to be mainly videogames during my preteens and up untill i turned 17. Then i started going to the gym and got into bodybuilding.
Then at 21 a random neurological disorder appeared out of nowhere and significantly affected my strength and overall ability to lift weights.
Then i lost all of my self esteem and got into videogames again. Got a PS4 Pro and wasted a shitload of money to get back on track with all the games i missed over the years i was living the "gym life".
Currently i am still playing videogames and i worked up the courage to get back on the gym, even all shakey and weak but that's also why i am on this website. To put an end to myself and this annoying disease.

To be honest I don't really have any hobbies. Probably spend my spare time building stuff :pfff:

Arranging Spotify playlists, reading and writing poetry along with other genres, singing, dancing.

Was playing around on piano and trying to learn ukelele with an old cheap uke from my grandpa's house. But now that it's too unbearable to sit and almost as uncomfortable to stand I had to ditch both. :/ Dancing is out too.

reading mysteries and making stupid plans/setting goals. I don't make long term plans now, just 1 or 2 month plans. It gives me a reason to get through the day. One of my favorites is going on strict, time limited diets - even when I don't have to lose weight.

Huh. Well, in the past, I loved to play sports, especially tennis and basketball. I was also an avid reader with authors like Phillip Pullman, Albert Camus, and Robert Heinlein among my favorite. And I love(d) cinema. Actually study it a little in school before I got sick.

Today: I smoke a shitload of cannabis, watch a crap-load of really bad streaming movies, and when I'm able, try to read a mystery novel now and then. Oh, and I sometimes stand on my balcony and wonder ...

Driving has always calmed me, and made me feel good ( on open roads that is, not in traffic lol )

Running, watching history documentaries and knitting socks for my loved ones.

I hope you all find at least some kind of joy in whatever you decide to occupy your time with. <3

Used to be movies and videogames. I enjoyed them enough not to sort my problems out. That was stupid. Find it hard to concentrate now and games are too much effort. Plus I don't want to give myself any reasons to live. I just listen to music and smoke weed. It keeps me calm. It also counts as work since the latest obsession is putting playlists together.

Not anymore. Before I lost my home I used to spend all my free time looking after the gardens. It actually did wonders for my mental health.

I'd spend no money. I'd scavenge materials from discarded stone from around town. I'd take plant samples from around the countryside and add them to the gardens. It was an eclectic garden made largely of wild plants, a haven for wildlife rather than something to display.

Now I just play Guild Wars 2 as I'm trapped in this shitty new little house.

Video games & music, TV, and probably also drugs in the near future.
OMG I smiled when I saw that you're really into learning about serial killers. I'm not a psycho. I just find it fascinating to know whats going on inside their minds. I've read about a lot if them and watch a lot of documentaries. Bundy, Gacy, Ramirez, Dahmer, Fish. I've been watching horror movies since I was 5. I fell in love with them.

Have you asked your doctor for Xanax?

You should check out the YouTube series and also the book "Programmed to Kill". Makes you realize how much of a pig sty this world truly is

Mine used to be sports, drawing, reading, creating (like those diy projects) . But since being physically ill and so fatigued I can't get out of the house much or do anything bc if being so tired, it mostly comes down to looking through social media, reading some online articles and I used to watch Twitch (gaming) a lot. That platform is really fun if you engage in chat, although it's mostly a young crowd.
