I have always been fond of strawberries. I often reminisce over eating them with my nan—either with whipped cream, or sugar. I also hold the memory of baking apple pie with her very fondly, altered into rhubarb once in season [we once baked one with both apple and rhubarb in it; truly a hidden taste of heaven.]
In the discussion of food, I simply must take my stance in defending sushi. Throughout my childhood, my nan and I had an awful lot of financial issues, meaning we rarely had the opportunity to buy things simply because we wanted to. Occasionally, however, we got our hands on some sushi. I love her.
