Family shouldn’t know that I committed ctb

My family is exceptionally vulnerable, and the impact of my demise would be irreparable. With six siblings, each grappling with their own mental health challenges, the repercussions of my passing would cascade through our family dynamic. Is there a discreet means by which I can end my life without it being discovered by anyone?

Very unlikely, I would have thought, unless you go missing and CTB in a deserted area or weigh yourself down in a lake or the sea. Your remains would probably be discovered eventually but not immediately. Check out this thread for further information on why:

But the not knowing might have as big an impact on your family as knowing the cause of death. Just something to think about.

Highly unlikely, a search operation would find you quickly.

Not knowing would probably be worse too.

I agree, probably running away for a while and doing it in a remote area is the only way but I'm not sure the search for years is actually better than finding your body in any way.

Unfortunately, this was not easy long ago, and nowadays it is practically impossible. Surveillance cameras everywhere, sophisticated scientific procedures, etc. I also wanted to disappear without a trace, but that is a mere illusion. Even the victims and perpetrators of murders are found, even though the killer has the opportunity to make the traces disappear. You have no chance. I wondered, if so many suicidal people get together on this forum, why don't they help each other with this. There is always a last person in the chain, but there is continuity, that is, no one is left at the end. It would make sense, wouldn't it?

If you have access to hiring or borrowing a boat, maybe go out a couple of times, fishing, relaxing, just find some excuse. When you're going to ctb make sure you have a couple of future appointments pending, haircut, dental check, Dr appointment, just anything normal which would make it seem you intend to be around taking care of business.
Final time you go out in the boat have a bottle of vodka or your choice of drink in your pack, slug it, step over the side and start swimming away from the boat.
If you drown, they'll just think you were silly. If you don't, you just go home and say you fell in.
