I'm sorry you went through these experiences. I hope you will forgive us that this particular period is a bit sensitive for discussing SN- given all the reports of welfare checks and people generally feeling skeptical- especially of new members.

I suppose the protocol recommends something around the 25g amount for a reason. Perhaps taking more means we are more likely to vomit. I'm guessing you also drank more water to get it down? Sorry to nit pick and sound insensitive. It's just that, for those of us considering SN, it's useful to learn about failed attempts and why they may have failed. I assume you did fast and take antiemetics?

I'm curious as to why you tried SN again for the second attempt, seeing as the first one had been such a horrible experience. I expect that would have put a lot of people off trying again with it. May I ask what made you choose it again?

I hope you haven't experienced longer-term consequences.

Appreciate you sharing, but I'm going to be blunt here…this story raises a lot of red flags. I'm with a lot of others in this thread.

Two failed SN attempts with maximum purity, one involving almost 100g, and you survived both? That alone strains credibility. The first attempt supposedly left you in a coma for two weeks after 12+ hours unconscious and yet, no mention of why medical staff would have known what to treat you for unless someone found clear evidence. SN isn't easy to detect unless they already suspect it. Then you say it happened again a second time, this year, with the same outcome?

Also, this is a brand new account with as others have said. Only now decided to join just to post a lengthy warning?

Look, it's true that SN is not perfect. Yes, there have been failed attempts, mostly due to vomiting, poor prep, or panic. And yes, methylene blue can reverse the process if given in time. But with proper dosage, antiemetics, and fasting, a survival (plus at your age) let alone two is extremely rare, especially without permanent organ failure or immediate intervention.

So either you had access to extremely fast emergency care twice under oddly specific conditions, or this is meant to scare people away from using SN.

If it's the second one, just be honest. People deserve accurate information, not exaggerated horror stories.

If I'm wrong, and this really did happen to you—I hope you find peace and healing. But forgive the skepticism. The timing and detail just don't hold.

A lot of people mistake nitrate or 6.25% which doesn't kill but can make u sick.

Need at least 95% sn ,imo

I was very surprised. Personally, NS isn't one of my favorite methods. I'd opt for partial or full hanging.

The latest PPEH recommends being alone for 24 hours after taking SN, presumably because there have been cases like this where someone has been revived 12+ hours later.

OP - your experiences sound brutal. I'm sorry.

I'll be honest and direct: I don't believe in this story. Why? The number of deaths with SN we have seen here, as well as the indication on books of the lethality of this method, makes me conclude it can kill someone. I'm not a defender of any method without references, but, even though we know that SN isn't as peaceful as people might think, the lethality of it is documented. Not to mention about the consequences, when the majority of cases indicate there's no permanent damage of a failed attempt. May be wrong, of course, but I'm with the people being skeptical of this story.

Hey, wait, albeit this post is suspicious, SN - and any method - isn't bulletprof. If you want to die with it, make sure to follow the protocol and find a place where no one can find you for hours.

So lethal dose is estimated to range from as low as 330 mg (don't 'test' your sn people) to 2.6 grams, and one case where someone survived ingesting 6 grams. This thread is talking about 100 grams and then a later second ingestion.

Hello! I'm new to the group and I'd like to introduce myself. I'm a 56-year-old man who suffers from depression, generalized anxiety, and OCD. I want to share my (bad) experience with SN with all of you. I don't speak English, but I've been following you for years translating the forum.

I've tried CTB with maximum purity SN twice, following the protocol in this forum, and both times I've failed.

Two years ago on my first attempt, I was found unconscious after more than 12 hours of having ingested twice the recommended SN amount (almost 100g)
Several days later I woke up in the ICU full of wires and tubes.
I was in a coma for 2 weeks and two weeks on the internal medicine ward, then I went to the psychiatric area. I was left with sequelae. I lost my voice because when I was intubated in the emergency room they damaged my vocal cords.
Little by little I have been recovering them, but I still cannot speak out loud. The doctors told me that my brain was deprived of oxygen due to several cardiac arrests and that in this scenario the consequences are unpredictable. In my case they affected my psychiatric disorder, it has made it worse. More anxiety, more depression, and OCD. I have a lot of headaches that I didn't have before. My heart was also affected, and I have arrhythmias that I didn't have before.

This year I had a second attempt. I bought SN from another seller. I followed protocol and woke up in the hospital in the ICU a few days later. Then they transferred me to the ward and this time I refused to go to the psychiatric center. This time I felt the side effects of methylene blue, which is the antidote to SN. For a few days I was urinating blue and seeing shapes and colors that do not exist when I close my eyes or be in a dark place.
I send a big hug to all of you and think about it well if you want to use SN, it is not an infallible method and can leave you with sequelae that worsens your life.

Somewhat unrelated but how did the SN water taste? Was it really salty and gross?
