  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

watching a youtube video, the guy mentions the SN in the meat and mentions that too much ingested "accidently" can kill and its even been used in homicides, and thats it, thats all thats mentioned . accidently....umm....yeah no. its not randomly laying around 99% of houses so thats not the accident. i doubt too much was accidently added at the factory, while possible still not enough to actually give numbers or really mention. and considering theres meat eating contests and they dont die, i doubt its from eating too much already incorporated.
accident.....really? because i feel like facts were glossed over. i can see why, but i find it a little funny.
(idk if youtube would count as social media but close enough and theres a comment section so its media and social)

They don't want to put that kind of information out there. Even though S.S. is gaining more members, I think it's still unknown by the majority of the population. The N.Y.T. arctical last year brought more members than it prevented.
I'm sure even Fixthe26 has unintentionally brought people here... Even if it's just lurkers.

Did they work in a factory? Or a Market?

I'm just commenting from memory here- because- annoyingly, I can't find the article- but I think it might depend on the curing process as to whether sodium nitrite or nitrate is used- nitrite turns into nitrate over time. Honestly, I'm kind of guessing here- could be talking total rubbish- but I suppose- if nitrite was used in a faster curing process, then it wouldn't have had the time to turn into nitrate.

There has also been a case of home curing sausages where people have simply used too much of it.

not randomly laying around 99% of houses
99% as in not everyone. leaving a small space open for it to be a portion of accidents. i didnt say it doesnt happen, by not saying everyone i kinda said it does happen, but the number wouldnt be that high.
