For hanging, partial or other, I struggle a lot with the knots. Would getting a rope with an eye splice or thimble work? Or just making an eye splice/thimble on the rope itself, allowing it to tighten by being pulled through the thimble?
Then you ust pull the rope through the eye splice loop, and it will tighten?

I'm not so sure. I just tried.
I'm not an expert on knots, but these two are easy. I learned them by watching YouTube tutorials..

- overhand loop knot
- noose knot: it tightens under load.

(I'm attaching a photo of what they look like)

Tie the overhand loop knot and use it like the last pic. It makes the best ligature.

Thanks guys. I have tried those knots too. I seriously think it might be the rope, because no matter what I try I don't lose consciousness quickly enough (partial suspension is my only option)

The second picture is not what you get when you tie the knot in the first picture. It looks like in the second picture, a Poacher's Knot is used for the small loop instead of an Overhand Loop.

Tying a noose using a small, fixed loop works perfectly well, but the way you present it in your post is confusing and incorrect. Not only are the pictures mismatched, but using a Poacher's Knot (as shown in the second picture) is also a bad idea — the small noose (tied with a Poacher's Knot) will give slack as the configuration tightens under load, which will interfere with the behavior of the larger loop.

The drawing, picture 1, shows you how to put a small fixed loop at the end of a rope.
The photo, picture 2, shows how that small fixed loop is used to make a larger loop that will tighten or loosen easily.

Look at it again. The overhand loop knot is very easy. How it gets used is very easy too, but you need to visualize it.
The best way is to practice them with string or a shoelace. Be calm and see how it goes.
Anxiety and a manual task do not mix well. I know you can do it.
