I would like to know of users' experience of people with BPD who do not have it themselves. I believe I have this and I read nothing but negative comments about people with BPD as though they are the worst people in the world and to be honest, I can see why. Just based on how I act and I am probably not the worst example. But my perception will be skewed.
I met someone else with BPD who allegedly "recovered" or now only had symptoms but not full-blown BPD who was one of the worst people I've ever met and split on me although luckily I wasn't fond of her so I didn't mind too much. But seeing how she was and acted, made me feel infinitely worse about myself, it was like a dark mirror. This was someone who professionals claimed was mostly recovered and was a nightmare, she displayed all the negative characteristics very clearly. I think this has been the final push I needed to commit to CTB.
So I would like to see what experiences others have had with people who have this disorder, no matter how bad.
