Recently even playing video games, which is pretty much the only thing that I find appealing in this world at all. I've been taking medication for a while (40mg of fluoxetine) and, if anything, I think it's making me feel even more tired and desireless than usual (which is already pretty bad).

It doesn't help either that, in the case of video games, I always have to put on earbuds due to my misophonia, thus making it feel more like a chore. It might sound like a superficial complaint as compared to more serious issues, but I don't know. It just sucks that I can't do anything because everything feels like climbing a goddamned mountain.

I'll see if I can muster up some energy to do something later.

Existing here certainly is so torturous and it does sound really tiring feeling trapped in that situation, but anyway I wish you the best of luck. It's such a cruel world we exist in where people suffer all through no fault of their own.

I feel the same way. Too tired to even play. For now I'm just watching gameplays, enjoying seeing other people play horror games.

I understand you. When you are on the verge of suicide, it tires almost everything. I also have to work, because if I quit, then my relatives will have suspicions. Although the money would exist somewhere for six months or a year would be enough.

Currently I feel like you. Everything is a burden, everything bores me, just staying at home and waiting for CTB. No energy left right now, drained completely.

I really hope for you you don't lose any interest/motivation/or happiness in your hobbies or everything that still makes you feel safe and escape from reality, even just a little bit.
I feel the same way as you do tbh

Do u want to change your medication? It's worth speaking of to your doctor, not all meds work for everyone. I used to be on fluoxetine as well

I already have an appointment with a psychiatrist next month. I've been taking the medication for more than a month, so I think it should have started to work already. Obviously I will tell them.
Thank you for your help, I appreciate it.

Yeah- I would definitely agree with this. I was only on Fluoxetine for one course and it didn't seem to do anything for me- so, I didn't bother renewing the prescription.

I know some anti-depressants have the effect of just dumbing everything down though. My friend says they feel like a zombie on them. It kind of disgusts me to be honest because I feel like that's what people need to cope with this world- a deadening of their senses- so- they're just numb to it all (and can carry on working.)

I wonder if more people here can comment on how Fluoxetine made them feel but- this numbness you're talking about could well be a side effect.

That said- it's probably a typical part of being depressed/suicidal too- I have so little motivation these days. It's so stressful too because I know I need to get my shit together soon and start earning better money in order to support myself. I'm so sorry you're struggling.

Well all medications work different for everyone, I've been on multiple medications. Some have bad some affects, and some don't. Some help, and some don't. It really depends.
