Every day is so much worse than the last.

My whole family is falling apart both my grandmas are dying. My girlfriend dumped me the got back with me then ghosted me and wrote a song about me. I'll probably go to jail for a speeding ticket. Every one at my job just waits for me to make a mistake so they can post it in the group chat. I don't enjoy anything anymore. I've tried it all to get better but I think I'm nearing the end. I just don't know how to tell my sister that I can't keep fighting. Death is the answer for me

Literally the same with me. My family is getting more abusive, my cptsd is getting worse, no jobs have accepted me yet, and I can't do anymore school work. Good thing I got my rope ready. Life or death, I wish you peace.

I've never heard of anybody going to jail for a speeding ticket?????

Job situations can be so crazy and unfair. If things are too stressful, it might be a signal to start looking for something else. Sometimes just having someone to talk to about the stressors we are going through can be so helpful. EVERYTHING in life is temporary even though the pain is telling us it is permanent.

I'm sure you have brighter horizons ahead of you, friend.

She ignored me then wrote a song embarrassing tf out of me acting like I broke up with her when she dumped me very publicly. She's just using me for clout. So don't be honored. I kinda wanna post the link but idk if I should

There's so many jobs on LinkedIn I believe you can get one but it does suck when you don't have the mental capacity to do work anymore. I wish you the best on your journey

I understand, it is a hopeless feeling when things just get worse. I know it is hard to carry on when you are suffering so much. It sounds like you are going through a lot, whatever happens, I wish you the best.

One of the most brutal aspects of living for me has been experiencing social rejection like this.

Everybody in my life assured me that the bullying and strict social hierarchies of high school wouldn't apply in the real world, but I think they only said that because they'd been accepted into their office social groups. The workplace is where many of us will spend most of our lives, so being rejected there hurts almost beyond comprehension.

And if you dare point it out or take it to HR, you'll be gaslit, and people who normally wouldn't even glance in your direction will say, "We all love you!! What are you talking about?"

If anything, adults have mastered the art of subtle rejection. A group of them might not like you, but they'll act like they do in front of superiors, and treat you as an equal when the situation requires it. The office extrovert might interact playfully with everyone else—but only professionally with you. Their interactions with you will also be brief.

Then at the end of night, when everyone's splitting off into the parking lot, you'll be the one walking alone to your car while the others chat excitedly together, and maybe even go to the bar afterwards just for fun.

And, as you mentioned, being conveniently left out of the group chat. I haven't had this happen personally, but I've read stories about people who asked to be included in the office group chat, and after they were added, everyone created a new group chat and pretended like they never talked much in the other one. Absolutely brutal.
