even if this site was "pro suicide" i would still use the forum and support it

like for one, given it already has that reputation not much would change in terms of that. plus, i doubt anyone who isnt seriously suicidal would be searching for this website so it's not like the site would influence perfectly normal healthy people into doing it.

i don't really see an issue with being "pro suicide", i wouldnt really use the label myself but many would ascribe it to me because i believe that human liberty and autonomy means anyone should be able to end their lives if they wish for whatever reason (i just generally believe people should be allowed to do literally whatever they want with their body aslong as it doesnt cause direct harm to others. you can chop your arm off if you want, do whatever drugs you want, even permanently dye your skin blue if you want to idc)

also i dont think "pro suicide" even necessarily means actively pushing others to do it or whatever which this site doesnt, to me it just sounds like "not actively discouraging it" which is why many ascribe the label to this site and i dont see anything wrong with that tbh

For me, suicide never seems like a bad decision, even if you kill yourself today and tomorrow scientists find a cure for your problem, you now can't feel bad, you can no longer have regret or feel anything. Today I am 21 years old, I have thought about killing myself since I was 12, and if I had done it I would have avoided so much suffering. It's better to be pro-suicide than pro-life; being pro-choice can still lead to suffering, as we humans make some fucked up decisions that makes us suffer more and more. Only those who keep trying to improve in this rotten world can suffer.

Not sure myself, but I completely agree with you. If I had to give an extreme example on how much I agree, this brings to mind the consensual cannibalism case. I don't know, can't believe I'm saying this, but it seems kind of okay(???) to me in a sense of personal autonomy. The fact that both people consented… Maybe that's too much. Point is, there is a moral stance to everything sure, but to what extent? We are already judged for ending our own lives. In the sense that it's a sin to do so, you'll go to hell for it. I don't know, maybe I'm just talking out my ass

A person can be so broken that they end up making decisions they believe are right, but that's all because they're mentally unwell. a child can consent to have sex with an adult, but i don't need to explain for you that it's wrong even if they consent. An adult might also think they are consenting to something when in reality they are not and actually are being used by other people.

Because we are not extremely logical beings, but rather emotional ones. For example, right now I'm consuming a high amount of sweet food. From a logical point of view, I know this will ruin my health, but my urge to eat is so strong that it overrides my logic. and that extends to every decision in my life, but of course some people can surprass they instinct more then others.
