I'm not massively knowledgeable medically but I do believe the body can build up a tolerance to drugs. So, if you take a lot of something or over a prolonged period, you need more of it to have any kind of effect.

My Grandma was on a whole assortment of drugs. During an operation, she had to be given more anaesthetic than initially predicted to knock her out. She was so worried they were going to start while she was still conscious- she started talking, so they gave her more.

I'm afraid I don't really know what meds will 'slowly poison' you. I guess most will at sufficient dose but they may not necessarily kill you- especially over the counter meds. Think it more likely you'll end up busting major organs.

I always thought sleeping pills would be a way out. Makes a kind of sense that if you take enough of them, surely you fall asleep and not wake up. Really don't know though. I was prescribed codeine for a bit and was hoping that may be my way out but I once worked out I would want to take 3 boxes worth (nearly 90 tablets) to be sure. Think doctors are reluctant to prescribe either pain killers or sleeping tablets at high amounts because they are so addictive. Plus, I think you also need antiemetics taking drugs at higher doses to reduce the risk of vomiting them back up.

Bit curious as to why you want to poison yourself slowly. Is it to make it look accidental? Think most people hope for a quick, painless exit. Would think a slow poisoning would be very painful. Sorry I couldn't really help. I wish you well.

The sleeping pills of today are not the sleeping pills of yesterday. They changed them. Too many people were ODing on sleeping pills, both accidentally and intentionally. It's more likely you will just harm your liver and kidneys by taking a large amount of sleeping pills today. They are designed not to kill you. They may be able to get the job done, but you will need FAR more than 30 pills. I don't know for sure, but you may need to take 200 or more and that may not work, either.

The deadliest sleeping pills were taken off the markets since 1970's, it's just not feasible anymore

Because I don't wanna disappear suddenly one day. I wanna slowly kill myself and be happy that I'm dying after a few days

It's not an effective method. Messing around with the wrong combination of meds can ruin your organs or worse.....

From my own experience pills are useless by themselves, I've used a variety of benzos, tranquilizers, anti psychotic, ssris and other drugs mixed to attempt my past suicides. I've tried 2 liters of vodka with more than 100 pills of clonezepams and dozens of quetiapines, mirtzapines etc. also took anti vomiting drugs (or however they're called), took me 5 days to regain consciences in the hospital with my entire stomach content pumped out of me. Best method would be using a weapon IMO, or hanging, I wont go into it, but there's plenty of information on this site on how to do it. Best of luck.
